Our Business

I started in the business after graduating from The University of Utah with a Finance degree in 1989.  I worked closely with my father, Howard E. Parkinson for many years  - being mentored by him and learning from his experience and wealth of knowledge in the industry.   Howard moved to Utah and I stayed in Idaho and started Parkinson Financial Services, Inc. 

I believe that there is a big void in the financial industry when it comes to INTEGRITY, KNOWLEDGE, TRUST and SERVICE.  It's important to understand the finance or the "numbers" behind the companies and products that I recommend.   I am an independent agent and have access to many companies and products to fit your needs. My education and experience (20 years in the business)  give you the confidence to know that I've done my research regarding the companies and products I offer and how they fit into your plans!
